· Wax your arms (or use cream hair remover), it creates a smooth look on stage.

· Wax your face, upper lip and peach fuzz along the jaw line, if needed.

· Spray Shine; (silicone) for your hair, gives it a silky appearance on stage

· Use an "oily" lotion (but NOT baby oil) to give a sheen on stage in swimsuit, ex: Johnson's creamy baby oil

· Tape breasts for cleavage effect, use duct tape or masking tape, 3 inches thick. (In my experience duct tape works best, but be careful when taking it off, your sweat should make it easy to remove. Click here for an explanation as to how to do this if you aren't sure how)

· Gel Breast inserts, to round out your bust line after you taped.

· Butt glue: roll-on or spray. Apply to your swimsuit the night before and hang suit inside-out on hangar, glue keeps your suit from riding up and if you do it to the suit, your booty doesn't get sticky (i.e. your gown won't stick to your butt!)

· Vaseline on teeth; helps you smile naturally without your lips sticking to your teeth.

· Contour cleavage

· Shave privates, completely if necessary

· Preparation H, gets rid of water. Good for under eye bags, and for getting rid of extra water in problem areas (Click here for an explanation as to how to do this if you aren't sure how)

· Vagasil powder, prevents face from looking oily on stage after sweating under the lights, mix a little with your face powder.

· Derma Blend for bruises, anything that will cover a tattoo, will cover a bruise.

· False eyelashes; should be cut to fit you, and only on stage (not interview).

· White eyeliner; makes eyes look bigger and brighter on stage. Apply to lower, inside eye and corners.

· No perfume!

· Natural length nails, French manicure, american manicure or natural.

· Place clear nail polish on the cut ends of your ribbon sash so it doesn't fray during the pageant week.

Duck Tape Explanation Preparation H
Cut a piece of tape the width of your rib cage.
Bend over, place the begining of the tape under your armpit/boob and push up your boob a little, then pull the tape across to the other side and under your other armpit/boob. Stand up, and your boobs are taped up, now place gel incerts along where the tape is to fill out your brests.

You can use Prep-H ANYWHERE!
Under eyes, and on the waist-line and theighs the night before competition, anywhere you want to loose a little water.

Prep-H tightens the skin slightly. It won't make you lose a pound of water or anything, and it only works for the day of competition, so apply the night before...it just helps those muscles you've been workin out to pop a little more on stage! Some girls wrap their problem areas in saran-wrap after application the night before, then sleep in it, in the morning you will sweat out a little more water. This may ruin a self-tanner, and even a real tan will be discolored by it, so use a little tanning creame if this happens to you...and I wouldn't try the saranwrap thing if you have a spray-on tan. :)
